(“SavvySpark,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website at https://savvyspark.ai (the “Site”) or use the SavvySpark platform (the “Service”). This policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
We are committed to being transparent about the technologies we use. This Cookie Policy explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control our use of them.
1. WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and supply information to the site operator.
We also use similar technologies, including:
- Local storage and session storage — data stored in your browser that persists between page loads
- Web beacons (pixel tags) — small transparent images embedded in web pages or emails that track whether content has been accessed
2. HOW WE USE COOKIES
We use cookies and similar technologies for the purposes described below, organized by category. SavvySpark does not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising and does not allow third-party advertising networks to set cookies on the Site. We do use one affiliate/referral attribution provider (Tolt) to credit partners who refer you to us. Under California law, that attribution is treated as “sharing” of personal information, so we describe it transparently in the Referral category below and give you controls over it (see Section 3).
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Service to function. They enable core functionality such as authentication, session management, security, and recording your cookie choices. You cannot opt out of these cookies because the Service would not work without them.

2.3 Analytics Cookies
These cookies and similar technologies help us understand how visitors interact with the Site and Service by collecting usage data such as pages visited, features used, session duration, and performance metrics. This information helps us improve the Service. We configure these tools to collect data in aggregate and do not use them to build advertising profiles about you.

2.4 Referral Cookies
These technologies support affiliate and referral attribution — they let us credit a partner who referred you to SavvySpark. Under California and other US state laws, this attribution is treated as “sharing” of personal information. We do not use these technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. YOUR CHOICES AND HOW CONSENT WORKS
3.1 How Defaults Are Set (by Region)
The way we treat non-essential cookies when you first arrive depends on where you are located, so that our defaults match the law that applies to you:
- If you are in the United States or another jurisdiction that follows an opt-out model: Analytics and Referral technologies may be active by default when you arrive, under our legitimate interest in understanding Site usage and crediting referral partners. You can turn them off at any time — see “Managing Your Preferences” below — and we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and “Do Not Sell or Share” requests as described in Sections 3.3 and 3.4. Strictly Necessary cookies are always active; Functional cookies follow your saved preferences.
- If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland: No Functional, Analytics, or Referral technologies load until you affirmatively opt in through the consent banner. Until you make a choice, only Strictly Necessary cookies are active.
We determine your region from your approximate location (derived from your IP address / network) at the time of your visit. This is an approximation and may not always be exact; you can override our defaults for your browser at any time using the controls below.
3.2 Managing Your Preferences
When you visit the Site, a cookie consent banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies (Functional, Analytics, and Referral). You can change your preferences at any time by clicking “Cookie Settings” in the footer of the Site, or from the Your Privacy Choices page. Your choices are saved to this browser and override the regional defaults described above.
3.3 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because we do not sell personal information, and because our first-party analytics (PostHog, Vercel) are performed by service providers under contract solely on our behalf — not sold, not shared, and not used for cross-context behavioral advertising — a GPC signal specifically causes our Referral (Tolt) technology, which is the one treated as “sharing” under applicable law, to stay off. First-party analytics is not sale or sharing and is therefore not governed by GPC; you can still turn Analytics off at any time in Cookie Settings.
3.4 Do Not Sell or Share
Because our affiliate/referral attribution (Tolt) is treated as “sharing” under California and other US state privacy laws, you may opt out of that sharing at any time — by turning off the Referral category in Cookie Settings, by using the Your Privacy Choices page, or by sending a GPC signal. Opting out does not affect Strictly Necessary cookies or your ability to use the Site.
3.5 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies through their settings. You can typically:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Delete all or specific cookies
- Block third-party cookies
- Block all cookies (note: this may impair the functionality of the Service)

3.6 Do Not Track
There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, but we do honor GPC signals as described above.
4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Some technologies on the Site are provided by third-party service providers that help us analyze usage or attribute referrals. We do not control these providers’ cookies — please refer to each provider’s privacy policy for information about their data practices:
- PostHog Privacy Policy — product analytics
- Vercel Privacy Policy — web analytics and speed insights
- Tolt Privacy Policy — affiliate/referral attribution
We do not allow third-party behavioral advertising networks to place cookies on the Site. Tolt is used solely for affiliate/referral attribution, not for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. DATA RETENTION
Cookie data is retained for the duration indicated in the tables above. When a cookie expires, it is automatically deleted from your device. You may also delete cookies manually at any time through your browser settings.

6. UPDATES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
7. GOVERNING LAW
This Cookie Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, consistent with the governing law provisions of our Subscription Agreement.
